In this 5 week beginner wheel class you will practice the basic fundamentals of wheel throwing including wedging, centering, pulling up walls, trimming and glazing. The focus will be on developing a relationship with the clay and your tools and having fun making basic cylinders and bowls – the foundation for mugs, vases, and other forms.

Ashley Dodd is a self taught potter whose work is observed through the lens of her background in graphic design and illustration. She creates pieces that are clean, contemporary and colourful. Playing with clay is truly her joy and she hopes to share this mud bug with you.
