About the Event

In 2 building classes you will make a cylinder mug or vase and plate or shallow bowl.

Slabs will be prepared for the class, and under direction students will cut out and mold clay over shapes. They will smooth clay and have the option of rolling texture or carving design in the clay. Students will learn basic information about clay and glazes. Our 3rd class is for glazing where they can use dip and or brush on glazes. Colleen will be sure to prepare pieces for kiln firings

Colleen has enjoyed art of various mediums throughout her life. She has focussed on pottery for more than 20 years. Colleen enjoys passing on her experience through teaching others.

She participates in our yearly pottery show at our Gallery this Fall.
