New to clay? This five session series is the perfect place to start! Participants will have a chance to learn the hand building techniques required to create several finished pieces. We welcome creativity but some suggested projects will be vases, bowls, mugs, charcuterie boards and home decor items such as a soap dish or incense holder!
Colleen Routley is a Cranbrook-based potter with a rich artistic background spanning multiple mediums. Initially focusing on painting, she has dedicated the past 25 years to pottery, where she finds joy in the experimental nature and delightful surprises of glazes. Colleen is particularly passionate about creating large and unusual pottery pieces. For the past 25 years, she has also been committed to sharing her expertise by teaching others.
